General Questions

About redy

redy is a payment system where $AUD (or any other currency) is used to acquire a digital currency

called ‘redy Dollars’. ‘redy Dollars’ are then used within the redy network to facilitate transactions.

For redy shoppers, redy is an app. They simply download it to their smartphone, register, and start

spending. Each time they buy with redy, rewards (‘Creds’) are earned which can be redeemed for

personal use within the redy network or donated to community projects or charities that matter to them.

For businesses, redy is like a point of sale system that takes payments from customers using the redy app.

For communities, redy is a way to connect users (consumers) and businesses to causes that matter to them and enables the two parties to actively support and contribute to these causes. By simply making a payment in the redy network, the redy user is empowered to make a difference

Can anyone open a redy shopper account?

Yes - as long as they are over 16 years of age.

An electronic identification check will be completed automatically when registering for a redy account in the app. If we are unable to verify the shopper’s identify electronically, photo ID will need to be sighted in a Bendigo Bank Branch before they will be able to use redy.

What are redy Dollars?

redy Dollars are digital currency used to buy goods and services within the redy network. redy Dollars can be added to a redy shopper account by topping up or will be debited from the shopper’s chosen Payment Method at the time of purchase.

What are Creds?

Creds are a virtual currency (similar to rewards points from a credit or loyalty card) that shoppers receive for purchasing goods and services within the redy network. They can choose to donate ‘Creds’ to community causes and charities or convert them to redy Dollars and spend them at any redy business.

Each time a shopper makes a purchase their redy receipt will show the balance of their Creds. The Creds balance can be viewed at any time in their redy Wallet.

How does the redy reward of 0.5% compare with current reward programs?

0.5% compares very favourably to other rewards programs, especially once you consider that there are no fees, no catches, no expiry, no waiting to claim rewards, and no website login required.

How can using redy contribute to my local community?

Each time a shopper buys with redy they are rewarded with Creds. They can choose to donate Creds to community causes and charities or convert them to redy Dollars and spend them within their local community.
